Château Siran 2021

The year 2021 marked the beginnings of space tourism and the exploration of Mars, and also, thanks to ever- improving technologies such as satellite images, a new understanding of the fragility of the earth in the face of climate change.
Consequently, when thinking about Siran’s 2021 label, Édouard and Sévrine wanted to evoke the theme of our human relationship with the solar system, outer space, and the universe more broadly,
The result – a lyrical and seductive drawing of the planets – captures the complex relationship between space, time, and movement, while representing the artist’s perceptions of an ambiguous and increasingly volatile universe.

Franco-American artist Peter Soriano was the obvious partner for this project.
The family ties that have united the Soriano and Miailhe families for several generations have helped to forge this friendship, fuelled by great admiration.
For some years now, Edouard and Sevrine have been passionately following his work documenting the impact of climate change on melting snow, glaciers and icebergs. A great wine lover, Soriano enthusiastically agreed to design the Château Siran’s 2021 label.
