The collection
Since 1980, Château Siran has upheld a distinctive family tradition celebrating the alliance between art and wine, initiated by Alain and Brigitte Miailhe. After a pause between 2006 and 2019, this tradition was revived in 2020, with each vintage featuring an artwork that resonates with its time.

A Legacy of Art and Wine (1980-2005)
From 1980 to 2005, Château Siran invited renowned artists to illustrate its labels, creating a fascinating collection that captured the essence of each vintage. This first series featured diverse artistic expressions, from Jean-Michel Folon’s poetic minimalism (1981) to Joan Miró’s vibrant abstraction (1982), and Paco Rabanne’s avant-garde vision (2003). Other notable contributions include Raymond Moretti’s dynamic strokes (1998), Ben Vautier’s conceptual typography (2000), and Zao Wou-Ki’s delicate fusion of East and West (1991).
Each label told a story, reflecting themes of creativity, heritage, and the passage of time, making this pioneering collection a true testament to the dialogue between art and wine.
